The 2026 Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards, honored outstanding performances on Sunday, with Michael B. Jordan from period horror film Sinners among the winners, along with Jessie Buckley in Hamnet and the late Catherine O'Hara.

The ensemble cast of Sinners, featuring Delroy Lindo and Wunmi Mosaku, received the award for best big-screen ensemble.

Jordan claimed the best lead male actor award for his dual role in the acclaimed Sinners, beating out the widely favored Timothee Chalamet.

Buckley won the best actress award for her role in Hamnet, while Sean Penn took home the best supporting actor prize for One Battle After Another.

Amy Madigan, for her role in Weapons, scored a surprise win, defeating favorite Teyana Taylor to claim the award for best supporting female actor.

Following major victories at the Emmys and Golden Globes, Apple’s movie industry series The Studio continued its winning streak, securing three comedy awards, including Best Comedy Ensemble.

The Studio co-creator Seth Rogen won best male actor for comedy for his performance in the series, while the late O’Hara, who passed away in January, got a rare posthumous award for her role.

The ensemble cast of breakout medical drama The Pitt won the drama ensemble award, surpassing contenders The White Lotus and Severance.

Netflix’s hit drama Adolescence extended its awards success, with Owen Cooper taking the best male actor in a limited series prize. The Diplomat’s Keri Russell claimed a surprise first-time win for best female actor in a drama series.

Harrison Ford was honored with this year’s lifetime achievement award.
