Turkey into FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Final Round

ISTANBUL

Turkey will compete in FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019 Final Round despite losing to Belarus on Wednesday.

In a match at Turkey's Kayseri city, Belarus beat Turkey 60-56 and also qualified for the Final Round of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2019.

Before this match, Turkey won all 5 matches in Group B qualifiers. Turkey Belarus, Poland and Estonia were also in Group B and Turkey finished the group at the top.

The final round will be held in Latvia and Serbia.

16 teams will compete in FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 Final Round. Latvia and Serbia are qualified directly as the hosts.

Eight group winners and the six best second placed teams will qualify for the Final Round of the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2019 to fill the remaining 14 spots.
