Rheinmetall to deliver Lynx infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine in early 2026
German arms manufacturer will supply Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles under a multi-million-euro contract, with future production planned in Ukraine
BERLIN
Rheinmetall will deliver its first batch of advanced Lynx infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine in early 2026, the German arms manufacturer announced Monday.
"Rheinmetall is supplying Ukraine with additional systems for national defense. The country is set to receive its first Lynx KF41 infantry fighting vehicles as early as the beginning of 2026," the company said in a statement.
The first five combat vehicles are valued in the mid-double-digit million euro range and will be financed by the German government. The contract was signed in December 2025.
"The infantry fighting vehicles will feature the two-man Lance turret and be configured specifically for Ukraine's armed forces. The next step is to procure additional batches, including production in Ukraine," Rheinmetall said.
