Pro-Palestinian activists on Friday blockaded the entrance to a production facility of an Israeli arms company in Germany, demanding an immediate end to Western support for Israel's genocidal war in Gaza.

About a dozen activists staged a sit-in protest on the road in front of Elbit Systems' facility in the southern city of Ulm, chanting slogans and carrying banners condemning the genocide in Gaza and calling for the closure of all Elbit Systems factories and offices in Germany.

"Our demands are the closure of all Elbit sites in Germany, in Koblenz, in Berlin and in Ulm. We demand the immediate stop of arms deliveries from Germany to Israel and an end to the political backing of the Israeli government by the German government," one of the protesters said in a video posted on social media.

The group also called for an immediate end to Israel's Gaza blockade, emphasizing that humanitarian aid must be allowed to enter immediately amid reports of children dying from starvation and widespread famine affecting the Palestinian population.

Elbit Systems, Israel's largest military manufacturer, operates several offices and production facilities throughout Germany. The company specializes in communication systems, reconnaissance technologies, unmanned aircraft and ground vehicles, while maintaining close ties to the German arms industry.
