A migrant camp was removed Tuesday from the forecourt of the Paris Town Hall, said authorities.
The Paris prefecture, in cooperation with police and the prefecture of Ile-de-France region, reinstalled those who were sleeping on the streets in front of the Town Hall, the prefecture said in a statement.
Those individuals originating mainly from Guinea, Ivory Coast and Mali were sent to temporary hosting centers in the region.
Their administrative situation will be evaluated and they will receive social and medical assistance, it said.
Authorities have relocated 3,783 people since Jan. 1, it said.
The migrants started to sleep on cardboard and plastic bags on the ground in front of Town Hall three weeks ago.
