Magnitude 4.5 earthquake hits southern Bosnia and Herzegovina
No immediate reports of casualties, damage

BELGRADE, Serbia
A magnitude 4.5 earthquake hit Bosnia and Herzegovina’s southern city of Stolac late Friday.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said the quake, whose epicenter was 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Stolac, occurred at 9.05 p.m. local time (2005GMT).
The tremor was felt in surrounding countries and the capital, Sarajevo, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
It struck at a depth of 5 kilometers and some 36 kilometers (22 miles) from the historic city of Mostar.
