French President Emmanuel Macron emphasized Saturday the need to take measures to prevent civilians from being harmed in the Gaza Strip.
Macron wrote on X that his country 'is actively mobilized' to tend he violence and tension for the benefit of Israel, Palestinians, the Middle East and the entire world.
Macron said he had discussions with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi where they highlighted the importance of taking necessary measures to prevent civilian casualties in Gaza.
Macron also emphasized the need to uphold international law in Gaza.
