Israelis protest attacks on Gaza outside French Foreign Ministry
Protesters demand suspension of Association Agreement, military embargo

PARIS / ISTANBUL
Israelis in Paris gathered Tuesday outside the French Foreign Ministry to protest the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
Demonstrators demanded the suspension of the Association Agreement between the EU and Israel that sets the framework for political and economic cooperation between the two nations, and that no weapons be sent to the Israeli.
They also urged France and the EU to impose sanctions and a military embargo against Tel Aviv.
Carrying banners that read: "Sanction Israel Immediately, Stop This Genocide" and "Israelis Against the Genocide in Gaza," protesters chanted slogans such as "Stop Arming Israel" and "Israel is a Murderer, (French President) Macron is an Accomplice."
Omri Sheffer, an Israeli citizen studying in France, told Anadolu at the protest that what is happening in Gaza is a genocide.
Sheffer emphasized the need for international pressure to stop Israel’s attacks and ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gaza.
