Hungary took the European Union to court over the use of frozen Russian assets for Ukraine, the Hungarian daily Magyar Nemzet reported Wednesday.
Hungary has filed a lawsuit against the Council of the European Union and the European Peace Facility (EPF) over frozen Russian assets being used to provide Ukraine aid.
The case was initially submitted to the Court of Justice of the European Union, which then referred it to the General Court.
The Council decided last year that 99.7 percent of the net profit from managing frozen Russian central bank assets should be transferred to the European Peace Facility.
