European stocks close mixed
Italy's FTSE MIB, Spain's IBEX 35 post gains

ISTANBUL
European stock closed mixed Wednesday.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 2.46 points, or 0.53%, to finish at 465.46.
The UK's FTSE 100 shed 14 points, or 0.19%, to end the session at 7,676. Germany's DAX 30 fell 80 points, or 0.49%, to 16,131.
France's CAC 40 was off 100 points, or 1.357%, to close at 7,315.
Italy's FTSE MIB, on the other hand, gained 14 points, or 0.05%, to 28,980.
Spain's IBEX 35 was up 81 points, or 0.85%, to end the day at 9,600.
