London’s FTSE 100, Italy’s FTSE MIB 30, Spain’s IBEX 35 partially recover from last week's losses

European stock markets close mixed

ANKARA

European stock markets closed mixed on Monday, as three indices managed to partially recover losses in the previous week.

The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European market in 17 countries, fell 0.62, or 0.13%, to close at 485.46. The index fell 0.13% last week.

London’s FTSE 100 rose 31 points, or 0.44%, to end the day at 7,255, bouncing back from a weekly decline of 1.69% during the previous week.

Germany’s DAX 30 was the worst performer of the day by plummeting 44 points, or 0.27%, to finish at 16,115. Last week, the index gained 0.4%.

France’s CAC 40 declined 7 points, or 0.1%, to close at 7,105. It rose 0.29% last week.

Italy’s FTSE MIB 30 increased 45 points, or 0.17%, to end the day at 27,382, recovering from a decline of 1.42% last week.

Spain’s IBEX 35 was the best performer of the day by adding 68 points, or 0.78%, to close at 8,821. It recovered from last week's losses after plummeting 3.6%.
