Anadolu Efes topple Partizan 100-94 coming back from 10-point deficit in 4th quarter

ANKARA

Anadolu Efes fought to beat Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade 100-94 in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game Friday in Istanbul after coming back from a 10-point deficit in the fourth quarter.

The Turkish basketball powerhouse were 10 points behind by the end of the third quarter at home at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall.

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade had a 74-64 lead after US center Frank Kaminsky hit a three-pointer to beat the buzzer.

But Anadolu Efes were dominant in the fourth quarter as they scored 36 points to grab a home win. The visitors racked up 20 points in the final stanza.

Playmaker guard Shane Larkin was Anadolu Efes' key player as he scored 27 points. Larkin also had eight assists.

Darius Thompson had 18 points for the Turkish club. And Ante Zizic and Will Clyburn racked up 12 points each.

Kaminsky was Partizan's high scorer with 24 points. Perry Dozier Jr had 21 points for the Belgrade team.

Partizan guard James Nunnally added 16 points.

Anadolu Efes won their fifth game in 10 appearances to rise to the 11th spot.

Partizan dropped to 13th place at 4-6.

Lo-led EA7 Emporio Armani Milan beat Crvena Zvezda on road

Italy's EA7 Emporio Armani Milan won 93-71 at Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet Belgrade thanks to German guard Maodo Lo's brilliant performance.

Lo, the game's high scorer, tallied 32 points to play a critical role in the away win at Stark Arena.

Serbian forward Dejan Davidovac had 18 points to lead Crvena Zvezda.

Emporio Armani Milan hit 17 three-pointers during the game in Belgrade.

The Italians are in the 12th position, improving to 4-6 in EuroLeague.

Meanwhile, 16th-place Crvena Zvezda are 3-7 in the season.
