The trade volume on Türkiye's spot natural gas market showed an increase of 54.9% to around 5.78 million lira on Thursday, Türkiye's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data showed on Friday.
Total trade on Wednesday amounted to about 3.73 million lira.
On Thursday's spot market, 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas cost 14,476.10 Turkish liras, while the cumulative natural gas trade volume amounted to around 401,000 cubic meters.
Türkiye received about 262.5 million cubic meters of pipeline gas on Thursday.
US$1 equals 42.65 liras at 2.06 p.m. local time (1106 GMT) on Friday.
