Russia’s oil export volume increased by 2.4% to 173.4 million tonnes from January to August compared to the same period last year according to the Russian Federal Customs Service on Tuesday.
However, oil export revenues for the January-August period decreased by 3.2% to $79.9 billion mainly due to the fall in oil prices over this period.
Russia’s coal export revenue increased by 3.7% to $10.9 billion and the volume of coal also rose by 5.8% to 134.4 million tonnes.
