BIST 100 index gains 120.4 points at closing session

Türkiye's benchmark stock index ended Monday at 13,168.16 points, up by 0.92% day by day.
After starting the week at 12,853.05 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index earned 120.44 points from the last week's close.
The lowest value of the index was 12,632.41, while the daily high was 13,168.16.
The market value of the BIST 100 was around 12.85 trillion Turkish liras ($291.3 billion), with a trading volume of 252 billion liras ($5.70 billion).
A total of 53 stocks on the index rose and 45 dropped, compared to the previous close.
Gold was $4,400 per ounce, while Brent crude futures were traded for $97.50 per barrel as of 6.45 pm local time (1545GMT).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 44.3160, the euro/Turkish lira exchange rate was 51.4440, and the British pound traded for 59.4640 liras.
