ANKARA 

Türkiye's benchmark stock index rose 0.76% to close Friday at 10,471.32 points, extending its gains to a fourth session.

After starting the day at 10,528.92 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 79.43 points from Thursday's close.

On a weekly basis, the index gained 3.28% as of Friday's close.

The price of an ounce of gold was $2,346.50, while Brent crude oil sold for around $82.54 per barrel as of 6.13 p.m. local time (1513GMT).

The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.7110, the euro/lira exchange rate was 34.9635, and the British pound traded at 41.4586 liras.
