Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Thursday at 14,349.25 points, up 0.68% or 96.86 points from the previous close.
On Wednesday, the BIST 100 rose 0.35% to close at 14,252.38 points, with a daily transaction volume of 172.5 billion Turkish liras ($3.85 billion).
As of 09.50 am local time (0650GMT), exchange rates stood at 44.7650 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 52.9275 to the euro, and 60.8805 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,829.05, while Brent crude oil futures were trading at $94.95 per barrel.
