Turkish stock exchange up at midweek's open
BIST 100 index gains around 41 points at Wednesday's open

ISTANBUL
Türkiye's benchmark stock index opened Wednesday at 10,357.17 points, up 0.4% or 40.78 points from the previous close.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 fell 2.27% to close at 10,316.40 points, with a daily transaction volume of 117.2 billion Turkish liras ($2.8 billion).
As of 10.05 am local time (0705GMT), exchange rates stood at 41.8320 Turkish liras to the US dollar, 48.6975 to the euro, and 55.5785 to the British pound.
The price of an ounce of gold was $4,199.55, while Brent crude oil was trading at $62 per barrel.
