Turkish stock exchange ends Tuesday with gains
Benchmark BIST 100 index earns 35.25 points at closing session

ISTANBUL
The Turkish benchmark stock index closed Tuesday at 10,962.02 points, up 0.30% from the previous close.
The BIST 100 index, after starting the day at 10,960.78, gained 35.25 points from the close on Monday.
The lowest point for the index was 10,915.63, while the daily high was 10,993.61.
During the day, 48 indexes gained in value, while 50 closed with losses.
The daily transaction volume reached 128.6 billion Turkish liras ($3.14 billion), while the overall value of the index was 10.16 trillion liras ($249.17 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 40.8915 as of 6.20 pm local time (1520GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 47.7620, and the British pound traded at 55.2535.
The price of an ounce of gold was $3,323.85, while the barrel price of Brent oil was $65.70.
