Turkish prefabricated building company Karmod said on Monday that it produced security cabins for higher education student dormitories in Istanbul.

Karmod delivered security cabins for six separate dormitory buildings of the Higher Education Credit and Hostels Institution (KYK) in Istanbul, according to a statement.

Zekai Kucuk, the company's general manager, said they are contributing to the preparation of KYK dormitories for the new academic year with their "Metro City" model security and information booths.

Kucuk added that the innovative design of the Metro City security booths addresses the security building expectations of modern architectural projects.

He explained that they recognized the need for modern security systems in construction projects such as commercial areas, public housing, and administrative buildings, particularly those built in city centers.

"Based on this, we initiated work on new models that would meet the growing demand for our classic security structures. Our Metro City cabin design project met this expectation. With the rapid popularity it has garnered, we can emphasize that the model represents a good alternative to luxury security and information booths," Kucuk said.

The manager said commercial establishments like shopping malls, administrative buildings, holding centers, public housing complexes, and public service buildings are particularly keen on Metro City cabins.

He emphasized that "Metro City Cabins" are available in seven different sizes and designs, each in a modern architectural style.

Kucuk said the company produces its models ready for use, including electrical installations specifically designed for the building. "We manufacture Metro City in seven different designs, each measuring up to 12 square meters. We produced 240x300 and 215x265 cabins for six separate KYK dormitories in Istanbul. Our structures will serve as security and information booths at the main entrances of the dormitories."
