Qatar calls on Turkish contractors to make investments

ISTANBUL

Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar Abdallah bin Hamad Al-Attiyah on Sunday made a call on Turkish contractors to make investments in his country.

Attending the Expo 2012 Yeosu International Exhibition in South Korea, al-Attiyah paid a visit to the Turkish stand.
Al-Attiyah said that Qatar was getting ready to host the 2022 World Cup in football and that they expected Turkish contractors to make investments in Qatar.
Al-Attiyah mentioned that they were making plans to construct new hotels in Qatar in preparation for the World Cup and that these hotels would have a total of 9,000 rooms.
Minister al-Attiyah stated that Turkish contractors may wish to construct new hotels in Qatar and take advantage of the market in Qatar.
