The number of newly established companies in Türkiye was at 52,676 during the January-June period.
This figure was down by 17.3% on a yearly basis, from 63,675 in the same period last year, Türkiye's Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (Tobb) revealed on Friday.
The number of liquidated companies amounted to 12,175 over the same period, up by 2.3%.
In June alone, 6,606 firms were established and 1,793 firms liquidated, Tobb's data showed.
In June 2024, 493 companies with foreign partners were established, 302 of these companies had Turkish partners, 26 had Iranian and 13 had Azerbaijani partners.
