Gazprom posts net profit of $138M in 2025
Gazprom's revenue down 7% year-on-year in 2024 due to European sanctions
MOSCOW
Russian energy company Gazprom posted a net profit of 11.2 billion rubles (around $138 million) in 2025.
The company’s revenue fell by 7% compared to 2024, dropping to 5.8 trillion rubles ($71.4 billion).
Despite this decline in revenue, the Russian company ended the year with a net profit.
Gazprom saw a sharp decline in its natural gas exports to Europe due to sanctions.
In additional, the country aims to offset this loss by increasing exports to Asian markets, primarily China.
