STOCKHOLM
The founder of iconic Swedish furniture chain Ikea died at home at age 91 on Sunday, the company announced.
Ingvar Kamprad, “one of the greatest entrepreneurs of the 20th century,” passed away at his home in the southern province of Smalad, said a company statement.
Kamprad, born in 1926, founded Ikea when he was just 17.
Ikea -- famed for its charming naming system, picture-based assembly manuals, and affordable prices -- currently boasts more than 300 stores in 29 countries worldwide.
