European stock exchanges closed with losses on Friday, except for the UK exchange.
The STOXX Europe 600, which includes around 90% of the market capitalization of the European markets in 17 countries, was down 1.41 points, or 0.31%, at 453.26.
Germany’s DAX 30 lost 14 points, or 0.09%, to finish the fourth trading day of the week at 15,557.
France’s CAC 40 fell 29 points, or 0.4%, to 7,184, Italy’s FTSE MIB declined 132 points, or 0.46%, to 28,575 at the closing bell.
Spain’s IBEX 35 was the worst performer of the day, decreasing 46 points, or 0.49%, to finish at 9,502.
The UK’s FTSE 100, on the other hand, added five points, or 0.07%, to close at 7,683.
