Istanbul Film Fest continues with February selection

ISTANBUL

The new selection of the Istanbul Film Festival, organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), will meet with movie lovers online on Feb. 5-28.

A total of 12 films that premiered at Tallinn, Venice, Berlin, Manchester, Cannes, and Sundance Film Festivals will be viewed on filmonline.iksv.org.

The selection will include productions from Filmekimi Galas, Hasan Soylemez's Sahara Desert documentary Tenere, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Marc Caro's cult film Charcuterie, and Oscar-nominated Greek movie Apples.

Although the screenings start at 9 p.m. local time (1800GMT), they will be available to online viewers for five days.

Movies that to be shown with Turkish subtitles will only be accessible from Turkey.

The dates of the selected films, which will also be viewable from the IKSV Film Online mobile app, are as follows:

"Naughty Boy" on Feb. 5-10, "My Mom Goes To War" on Feb. 6-11, "Apples" on Feb. 7-12, "Relic" on Feb. 12 -17, "Socket" on Feb. 13-18, "The Salt In Tears" on Feb. 14-19, "An Ordinary Socket" on Feb. 19 - 24, "Charcuterie" on Feb. 20 - 25, "Soviet Garden" on Feb. 21 - 26, "Tenere" on Feb. 26 – March 3, "The Prince" on Feb. 27 – March 4, "The Adults In The Room" on Feb. 28 – March 5.
