ISTANBUL

Bijan Mortazavi, a renowned Iranian musician and virtuoso violinist, will perform in Istanbul on Nov. 4.

His concert, alongside a 100-person symphony orchestra, will take place at the Mustafa Kemal Cultural Center in the Besiktas district.

Preparing a special repertoire for Istanbul, Mortazavi will present four new compositions live for the first time at this concert. The concert will also be broadcast on Iranian television.

The artist started playing the violin at the age of three and learned the piano, guitar, oud, tar, and santur at the age of seven, forming an orchestra at the age of 14, and composed his own compositions.

The world-famous musician completed his doctorate at the Southampton Solent University in the UK in 2009.
