Spanish tenor Jose Carreras to perform in Istanbul
Jose Carreras, who was part of "The Three Tenors" along with Domingo and Pavarotti, will take the stage in Istanbul on March 29

ISTANBUL
Spain’s well-known tenor Jose Carreras will perform at Zorlu Center for Performing Arts in Istanbul on March 29.
"Turkey is a beautiful and growing country," Carreras told the press at Ataturk Airport in Istanbul. "I am sure Turkey will grow economically in the future too," he added.
The 68-year-old tenor will be performing together with conductor David Gimenez and Turkish soprano Simge Buyukedes.
Carreras became well known for a wider audience as one of The Three Tenors along with Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti in a series of concerts held between 1990 and 2003.
