Pakistan's ambassador to Türkiye pays visit to Anadolu Agency
Yousuf Junaid meets Director General Serdar Karagoz, Editor-in-Chief Yusuf Ozhan at headquarters in capital Ankara
ANKARA
Pakistan’s ambassador to Ankara on Wednesday visited Anadolu Agency, Türkiye’s top news source, underlining the importance and mutual support in Turkish-Pakistani ties.
Anadolu’s Director-General Serdar Karagoz and Editor-in-Chief Yusuf Ozhan welcomed Ambassador Yousaf Junaid and his accompanying delegation at the agency’s headquarters in the capital Ankara.
Karagoz told Junaid that the agency is interested in collaborating with Pakistan, and in exchange programs with Pakistani journalists.
Ozhan, meanwhile, explained the agency's reporting structure and its global operations.
The ambassador stressed Anadolu’s international credibility, and expressed gratitude for its coverage of Pakistan.
Junaid mentioned that Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had followed the coverage of the recent Turkish general elections through Anadolu.
Karagoz and Junaid also exchanged gifts as a goodwill gesture at the end of the meeting.
