ISTANBUL

Director-General of Russia's official TASS news agency, Sergey Mikhaylov and an accompanying delegation visited Anadolu Agency's office in Istanbul on Monday.

Anadolu Agency Chairman and Director-General Senol Kazanci and Mikhaylov discussed bilateral relations and areas of cooperation at the meeting between the two major agencies.

Mikhaylov was also briefed on the AA News Academy, which was established in 2011 as part of the agency’s centennial goals for 2020. The academy holds frequent seminars and provides a number of training programs.

TASS First Deputy Director-General Mikhail Gusman and Anadolu Agency’s Deputy Director-General Mustafa Ozkaya were also present at the meeting initiated at Kazanci's invitation.
