Anadolu Agency to open office in Pakistan Tuesday

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan  

Anadolu Agency will mark the expansion of its international operations Tuesday with the inauguration of its office in Pakistan’s capital.


An inaugural ceremony will be held at the office, located in the Stock Exchange Building in Islamabad’s central business district. 

Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry will be the chief guest. Those attending will include Anadolu Agency’s Deputy Director General Mustafa Ozkaya, Deputy Director General and Editor-in-Chief Metin Mutanoglu, World Languages Editor-in-Chief Mehmet Ozturk, International News Editor-in-Chief Faruk Tokat, Head of International Operations Muhammed Ural Yesil and Director of Marketing and Sales Yilmaz Yaman as well as government officials, opposition parliamentarians and heads and editors of local newspapers and TV channels.


This will be the agency’s 41st office worldwide. 

Anadolu Agency will also be holding a meeting for local media representatives in Karachi, the country’s largest city and financial and commercial capital, on March 14 aimed at enhancing dialogue and discussing opportunities for cooperation.

Among those attending will be media owners, senior journalists and parliamentarians.
