Turkish women's basketball team in perfect start to second group phase after 61-41 win

ANKARA
The Turkish women’s national basketball team defeated Montenegro 61-41 in their first game in Group E of the second round in the European Women Basketball Championship.
The “Fairies of Basket” put out a strong display to maintain control of the game throughout at Fonix Hall in Debrecen, Hungary.
Completing the first round of the two-round group phase in second place in Group B with three wins and one loss, Turkey are set to play against France on Friday in the second game.
