SARAJEVO, Bosnia&Herzegovina
Employees from three bankrupt companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina's northwestern city of Tuzla began marching toward the border with Croatia after they say government officials failed to respond to their demands.
About 200 employees protested in front of government buildings for months demanding a one-time $250 aid package.
Protesters reached the city of Orasje, some 70 kilometers (43.5 miles) away, on Wednesday and spent the night in a sports hall.
They resumed their march Thursday morning and planned to reach the city's border crossing with Croatia by the end of the day.
Protesters say they are seeking refugee status in one of the EU countries.
