MOSCOW

International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) head Rafael Grossi arrived in Russia's city of Kaliningrad on Thursday.

Grossi is scheduled to hold talks with the head of Russia's nuclear corporation, Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, the following day, Russian state news agency Tass reported.

"Immediately following his arrival at Khrabrovo Airport, Grossi exited the terminal premises, bypassing the business lounge departure gate," it said.

The meeting between Likhachev and Grossi is set to focus on issues surrounding the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant.

Grossi will depart Kaliningrad for Vienna following talks with Likhachev on Friday.
