Foreign Ministry says Russian diplomat engaged in activities incompatible with his diplomatic status
BELGRADE, Serbia
Slovenia on Thursday declared a Russian diplomat persona non grata and ordered him to leave within seven days.
The Foreign Ministry informed the Russian Embassy in Ljubljana that a decision had been made under Article 9 of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations regarding activities that were incompatible with his status as a diplomat.
According to the statement, the Russian diplomat engaged in activities that were incompatible with his diplomatic status.
The Russian diplomat must leave the Republic of Slovenia by March 28, 2024, it added.
