Russia, China's presidents to exchange visits to mark 80th anniversary of WWII victory
Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia in May, while President Vladimir Putin plans to visit China between late August and early September, says Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced on Wednesday that Russia and China's presidents will exchange visits to commemorate the 80th anniversary of World War II victory.
Speaking in Moscow during the Government Hour, an annual meeting between the foreign minister and members of parliament, Lavrov said Chinese President Xi Jinping will visit Russia in May, while President Vladimir Putin plans to visit China between late August and early September.
"Chairman Xi Jinping will make his next visit to Moscow for celebrations honoring the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, while President Putin will travel to China to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japanese militarism and the end of World War II in late August and early September," Lavrov said.
