North Korea has opened its Pyongyang Autumn International Trade Fair to foreign businesses, according to an announcement by Young Pioneer Tour (YPT), a tour group.
After the reopening of its touristic border city of Rason near China in February, this time North Korea has allowed foreign businesses to visit its capital Pyongyang.
The group said in a statement on Sunday that it can “arrange” a business delegation visa through the Korea External Economic Exchange Association to enter North Korea for the Pyongyang Trade Fair.
It added that Pyongyang Chamber of Commerce will hold a “VIP presentation for us for an in-depth overview and insights” into North Korea’s economy.
Those granted visas can visit and explore the capital city and also visit Mt. Myohyang.
According to the YPT website, the tour will be held between October and November and extend for eight days and is priced at around €3,995 ($4,704).
The travelers will be flying through China.
