Multiple people stabbed at central Japan rubber factory

Several people were stabbed at a workplace on Friday in central Japan, Kyodo News reported.
The incident occurred at a factory in the Shizuoka region, local authorities said.
They said that an emergency call “was received around 4.30 pm (0730GMT) … that five or six people had been stabbed at a Yokohama rubber factory in Mishima.”
Law enforcement agencies have detained the suspected attacker, while a probe is underway.
According to the public broadcaster NHK, at least 14 people were injured during the stabbing incident.
