Blast kills 5 policemen, injures 27 in northwestern Pakistan: Report

ISTANBUL
At least five policemen were killed and 27 others injured in a blast in northwestern Pakistan on Monday, local media reported.
The blast occurred near a police van in Mamund in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a police official told local daily Dawn.
The police van was reportedly carrying anti-polio campaign officials.
The campaign has been suspended following the blast.
