9th Trilateral Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia held in Baku

ISTANBUL/BAKU,Azerbaijan 

The Ninth Trilateral Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Georgia held in Azerbaijani capital Baku, on Friday.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili attented the meeting hosted by Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Bayramov made an opening speech and the meeting continued closed to the press.

The ministers will make a joint press conference after the meeting.

During the meeting, issues concerning the three countries will be reviewed within the understanding of regional cooperation and recent global developments will be discussed.

Fidan, who will hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts, is expected to participate in the 11th Global Baku Forum.

The trilateral meeting mechanism contributes to regional stability, peace and prosperity.
