A folding solar catamaran, produced by Turkish designers, has won an international design award.
"FOSCAT 32", folding solar catamaran of the Designnobis team, won "Green Dot 2011" transportation award.
"Consisting of folding solar panels and using clean energy, the catamaran can be folded and pulled to the shore, thus there is no need to anchor the catamaran to a marina," Hakan Gursu, the head of the Designnobis team, told AA correspondent.
