Euromoney recognised TEB Sh.A, as the best bank of Kosovo

TEB Sh.A, a prominent member of the TEB (Turkish Economy Bank) Group, has been recognised as 'the best bank of Kosovo' by Euromoney, one of Europe's largest business and financial magazines.
The awards were presented at the 2013 Euromoney Awards for Excellence Ceremony, TEB said in a statement.
Orkun Mungan, Managing Director of TEB said, “TEB Sh.A. is flattered to receive this outstanding recognition from a prestigious global publication. The title of ‘Best Bank in Kosovo" marks the international acknowledgment of the bank’s distinction and remarkable achievements. We are proud of our financial performance in recent years, but also of what we have accomplished in terms of meeting the needs of our customers and supporting the Kosovo economy”.
He said the award reaffirmed TEB's success at creating value for its clients, its shareholders, its employees, and for the society of Kosovo. Regarded as one of the benchmark awards for financial services globally, the Euromoney Awards for Excellence are now in their 23rd year.
Total credit growth of TEB Sh.A increased 12 per cent in the first six months of 2013 and reached 250 million euro, making it one of the three major banks of the country.
With its 25 offices and employees over 500 in Kosovo, TEB Sh.A is formed through a joint venture between one of the world’s strongest financial institutions, BNP Paribas, and one of the most reputable banks in Turkey, Turk Ekonomi Bankasi (TEB). It entered the Kosovo market in 2008 and has been providing innovative and practical financial products and services since then.
