ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkish actor Necati Sasmaz, who starred in a popular television series "Kurtlar Vadisi" (The Valley of the Wolves) which is widely watched in the Arab countries, expressed support for the supporters of Egypt's ousted President Mohamed Morsi.
Sasmaz, known as "Murat Alemdar" in the Arab world, condemned Wednesday's violent massacre in Egypt that claimed hundreds of lives.
Sasmaz addressing Egyptian people in his remarks said "I appreciate your resistance for freedom and democracy. I believe that you will continue to protest patiently to demand real freedom and democracy."
"Some foreign forces have their own pawns using them against Muslim countries. I believe that you will not be deceived by them," Sasmaz said.
