Turkey's national basketball team were not qualified for the second round of EuroBasket 2013

Turkish national basketball team were defeated by Greek team 61-84 in a Group D match at EuroBasket 2013 in Slovenia on Saturday.
Turkish team missed the chance of qualifying for the second round, while Greece confirmed a spot in the second round with a victory over Turkey.
Refereed by Robert Lottermoser (GER), Ademir Zurapovic (BIH), Renaud Geller (BEL), the game included Turkish players of Dogus Balbay, Sinan Guler, Hidayet Turkoglu, Kerem Gonlum, Semih Erden, Preldzic, Omer Asik, Ender Arslan, Ersan Ilyasova, Serhat Cetin, and Greek players of Sloukas, Zisis, Kaimakoglou, Papanikolaou, Bourousis, Printezis, Bramos, Mafrokefalidis, Perperoglou, Fotsis, Kavvadas.
Third matches in group C and D have been completed too. Italy defeated Finland 62-44 and qualified for the second round, while Sweden triumphed over Russia 81-62 getting the first victory.
EuroBasket hosted Slovenia winning 72-68 over Georgia in Group C, while Spain beat Czech team 60-39 in the same group.
