Turkish Air Forces' aerobatics team, "Solo Turk", has charmed the audience in Belgium with its performance during the 35th International Airshow of the Sanicole Aviation Club. ***

Some 25 thousand people watched the performance during the Airshow in the town of Hechtel-Eksel near Belgia's border with the Netherlands.
Teams from Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, France, the USA, Spain, Austria, Czech Republic and Romania also took part in the show.
Murat Keles from the Turkish team told the AA that Solo Turk aerobatics team was formed as in 2011 as a gift from the Air Forces to Turkish nation.
"We made our first aerobatic performance in April. Since then, we have taken part in many national and international shows and received the best aerobatics performance award from the United Kingdom," he said.
"This year, we are going to make two more performances. One in Ankara during the Republic Day ceremonies on October 29 and the other in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) on November 15," he added.
Solo Turk consists of a Block-40 type F-16 aircraft, three experienced pilots and a support team. The black, silver and golden colors of Solo Turk is unique around the world with its special design.
"The Eagle Head" upon Solo Turk is the symbol of Turkish Air Forces, and the golden crescent and star represents the value given by Turkish Air Forces to Turkish flag and Turkish nation. The eagle symbol depicted upon the wing of the aircraft represents "the determination and freedom in the souls of aviators".
