SOCCER: DOS SANTOS JOINS GALATASARAY ON LOAN
ISTANBUL - Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur's Mexican striker Giovani Dos Santos joined Turkey's Galatasaray on loan, Turkish club said on Wednesday.

Galatasaray said in a statement posted on its website that Dos Santos would play until the end of this season. Earlier reports said there was an option in his contract to become permanent this summer.
20-year-old Mexican international had moved to English side Tottenham Hotspurs in 2008 from Barcelona. In March 2009, Dos Santos signed on loan at Ipswich Town until the end of the season. Later, he returned to Tottenham and appeared in three games.
