SIX ATHLETES REPRESENT TURKEY IN VANCOUVER 2010 WINTER GAMES
ANKARA - Six athletes represent Turkey in Vancouver 2010 Winter Games.

After arrival of the Turkish team in Vancouver, Turkish flag was hoisted in the olympic village.
Canadian cities of Vancouver and Whistler will host the 21st Olympic Winter Games from February 12 to 28, 2010 and the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games from March 12 to 21, 2010. The seven winter Olympic sports that will be on show in Vancouver are luge, skiing, skating, ice hockey, biathlon, bobsleigh and curling with the slogan of "With Glowing Hearts". Some 2.7 thousand athletes will compete in the games.
Tugba Karademir will represent Turkey in figure skating while Kelime Cetinkaya, Sebahattin Oglago and Omer Yusufoglu will compete in the category of cross-country. Tugba Dasdemir and Erdinc Turksever will vie for medal in alpine skiing.
Meanwhile, Cetinkaya will carry the Turkish flag during the opening ceremony.
