Greece to join Izmir International Fair

Greece will join this year's Izmir International Fair (IEF) for the first time since 1993.***

The 80th Izmir International Fair will open in the western province of Izmir on September 8.   
Austria will be the partner of Turkey's first international trade show this year. The theme of this year's event is "Environment and Environment Technologies".  
Ali Riza Gulerman, director-general of IZFAS, said that Austria would have a 529-square metre stand. "Austria will bring together Turkish and Austrian investors at four different events about environment, urban planning, tourism and alternative architecture," he said.  
"This year, Greece requested us to join the trade show for the first time since 1993. Greece will promote the island of Lesbos," he said.  
The fair will feature IEF Environment Summit on September 15 and 17. 
The 80th IEF will take place at Izmir Kulturpark International Fair Center between September 8 and 18.
