Erdogan: 'We have no respect for those who have no respect for Egyptian's will'

ANKARA

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Sunday that they would not respect those who had no respect for the will of the Egyptian people.

Addressing via video-conference Turks living in Dusseldorf, Germany in a sympathy rally organized by the Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD) Erdogan said "feel proud of your flag, nation, and your home country. No one can harm Turkey as long as we remain united."

Erdogan lashed out at the military coup in Egypt that ousted country's elected President Mohammad Morsi, saying forces removing Morsi  "could not bear an elected president just for one year. They have not shown respect to the will of the people in Egypt."

"Don't forget in your prayers our brothers struggling against the military coup in Egypt," Erdogan said.

Stating that Turkey had an unlimited source of love for Egyptian people, Erdogan said, "The problem is now with the military junta. Those who act together with the junta should know that we have a clear difference in our comprehensions of democracy."
