CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: BESIKTAS JK SEEKING VICTORY AGAINST WOLFSBURG
ANKARA (A.A) - 20.10.2009 - Turkey's Besiktas JK will seek its first victory in UEFA Champions League in away game Wednesday against Wolsburg.

Last year's champion Besiktas JK is far from last year's glory with only 4 wins and 9 goals in the net in 9 games in Turkey's major soccer league.
Besiktas Coach Mustafa Denizli, target of heavy criticism, wants to make up for the bad start to Champions League.
Besiktas won a hard victory (2-1) Saturday in the major league against Kasımpasa, with two of its players suspended with red cards in the last minutes of the game.
Besiktas's opponent Wolfsburg won 2-1 against Borussia Mönchengladbach Sunday in the Bundesliga.
Italian Roberto Rosetti will referee the game which will kick off at the VfL Wolfsburg Arena at 9:45 pm Turkish local time on Wednesday.
